Join thousands of glamorous dogs and their fabulous owners at the 9th Annual Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A’s “2010: A Pooch Odyssey” Dog Walk, presented by KPRS Construction Services on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010. Walk this scenic 1-, 2-, or 3-mile route through Bonelli Park in San Dimas to support the animals of the Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A.
This is a dazzling opportunity to participate in the coolest event of the year! From 7:30 am to 12:00 noon, you will be entertained with games and activities for both you and your dog which include sponsor booths, a Vendor Village filled with dozens of pet boutiques, breed rescue groups and pet information booths, a pancake breakfast, and so much more!
The annual IVHS and S.P.C.A. Dog Walk is the biggest pet walk in the Inland Valley, and we want to see you there! Everyone can take part, even if you don’t have a pet to walk! You can choose to walk alone or you can form a team. A team is a group of 3 or more people who individually raise pledges that are reflected in their group’s total.

What is MSRPAC? It’s the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center and they are a non-profit public benefit charitable organization committed to giving homeless cats and dogs another chance for a healthy and happy life.
On Monday, June 14, 2010 they will hold their first golf marathon at:

What’s required to golf:
- Give the day to come out and play
- Sponsor yourself a minimum of $1 per hole ($100)
- Raise additional sponsorships of $24 per hole ($2400)

This Saturday, May 8th, 2010 is the Grand Opening/”Adopt-a-Thon” Celebration or Riverside Counties newest and largest shelter.
the celebration includes:
- free hot dogs
- animal-shaped jumpers for the kids
- live music
- face painting
- a dog agility program
- and more than 700 animals ready for adoption
Adoption rates on Saturday are $50 for dogs and $30 for cats, which includes spay & neuter surgeries (if necessary), micro-chipping and all vaccinations.
Also if you visit Fairmont park, the annual Wienerfest “Wieners N Wheels” takes place on Saturday, too.
“Wieners N Wheels” includes:
- Hot rod car show
- Dachshund races
- canine costume contest
- live music
- a “roll-it forward” raffle
- food booths and a variety of vendors
